Who can be a Victim? The answer is...Anyone. Victims of crimes are anyone that the crime was committed against. Victims
of Domestic Violence can be women, men, and children.
The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office provides a full-time Victims
Advocate, which is a certified Deputy Sheriff, to counsel and assist victims and witnesses in Edgefield County. The Victims Advocate
can refer victims and witnesses to state services that are provided at no cost.
