The Uniform Road Patrol Division covers all of Edgefield County, 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week working rotating 12 hour shifts. Patrol Deputies respond to any and all incident calls, including accident scenes until the SC Highway Patrol can arrive. Incident calls include: suspicious persons / vehicles, break-ins, alarms, domestics, storms, downed trees, property checks, etc.
