Victim and Witness Services Division
Who can be a Victim? The answer is...Anyone. Victims of crimes are anyone that the crime was committed against. Victims of Domestic Violence can be women, men, and children.
 
The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office provides a full-time Victims Advocate, which is a certified Deputy Sheriff, to counsel and assist victims and witnesses in Edgefield County. The Victims Advocate can refer victims and witnesses to state services that are provided at no cost. CLICK HERE for the laws on Victims Rights.
