Suspected Shooter in Johnston and Edgefield Incidents Arrested in Florida

Edward Fargo McKenzie, wanted in connection
with two local
shootings has
been arrested
in Palm Beach
County, Fl.
McKenzie was
wanted by
Johnston PD
on two charges (Assault with
Intent to Kill; Discharging Firearms into Dwelling) stemming from an incident on August 13, 2009 when he
allegedly fired a
weapon
at a
crowd of people
in the May Street
Apartments area.
Two days later,
McKenzie allegedly
shot a male victim in the lower back with
a handgun, in the Town of Edgefield. Edgefield PD authorities obtained a warrant for Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill. When
arrested in Florida, McKenzie was in possession of a handgun, reported stolen in Aiken, SC.It is unknown at this time if or when Edward
Fargo Mckenzie will
be transported back to Edgefield County, due to his current charges in Palm Beach County, Fl.
Aguinaga Brothers
Apprehended in Charleston

Working on tips from a resident of the Charleston, SC area, Edgefield
authorities collaborated
with
Charleston area law enforcement to arrest Noe and Marcos Aguinaga, wanted
for Grand Larceny, stemming from an
incident in November2009. Noe Aguinaga, 26, was arrested without incident during a traffic stop around 3:30pm by a Deputy with the North Charleston Sheriff's
Office. Edgefield authorities then contacted the Charleston County Sheriff's Office with information on the whereabouts of Marcos
Aguinaga, 23. The Edgefield County Sheriff's Office was notified at 8:00pm that Marcos was in custody. Arrangements are being made
to return both subjects to the Edgefield County Detention Center.
Two from Most Wanted Lists Arrested
January 8, 2010
Jeremy
Simpkins, on the Most Wanted
List for Failure to Stop for a Bluelight, was arrested on January 7th. Simpkins is also wanted in Richmond
County, Ga. for traffic related incidents.
Albert Hardy, on the Family Court Most
Wanted List for Failure to Pay Child
Support,
was taken into custody January 5th. Hardy was listed on the FC Most Wanted due top being behind in child support in excess of $20,000.
Suspect
in July 2009 Burglary Arrested
January 4, 2010
Richard Dean Williams, 20, of 5 Yates Lane in Trenton, was arrested December 31
on multiple charges stemming from a burglary in Trenton that occurred on July 7, 2009. During the burglary, two handguns, a cell phone,
a wallet, three credit cards, a drivers license, and $150.00 in cash, all belonging to the victim. Williams is charged with one count
of Burglary - First Degree, one count of Breaking into a Motor Vehicle, and 2 counts of Simple Larceny. Williams is currently being
held with NO BOND.
Family Court Bench Warrant Served
January 4, 2009
Donna Norbits, 39, wanted for Failure to Appear in Family
Court for Child Support since August 2009, was arrested on January 2, 2010. Norbits will remain in custody until
the next scheduled
Family Court.
